Extremely cute and vibey coffee shop! They have a wide variety of lattes and desserts including horchata mazapán iced coffee, mole chocolate latte, and one with chocolate and chile. They happened to have tamales when I went to work on my computer, which were SO delicious, homemade and wrapped in traditional banana leaf. I will say it’s a bit smaller so it doesn’t accommodate too many people but it is very nicely decorated and they have speedy service so perfect for to-go orders!
I tried their Café de Olla Latte with espresso and along with a English Muffin ham and cheese sandwich with Chipotle Mayonnaise. The atmosphere is cozy and took me down memory lane when I saw a antique Singer sewing machine on it's original wooden desk just like my abuelo would use. I can wait to return to try más of their amazing menu.

The horchata cold brew is an absolute must-try, a testament to their innovative and carefully curated drink menu. While the Cafe de Olla Frida and Micaela were decent, it's their horchata cold brew that will beckon me back. With a blend of indoor and outdoor seating in an eclectic setting, Ollaexpress offers not just a cup, but an experience. Definitely, a bookmark for any San Antonio visit!
Amazing coffee!!! Lovely set up and they have other stuff in there to buy. While in San Antonio this is a must! It's close to the museum of Art and the Riverwalk. Can't wait to be back here
I am so excited to find this place! Cafe de Olla is a fabulous drink I first had in Mexico. Flavors are wonderful. You can get a tasting flight of 4 favors of Olla. Orange, anise, cardamom and chile. So fun! And, take home a bottle of their Poncillo syrup. Cafe de Olla at home! (Well, almost.). Cozy house with fun seating areas and a patio. Baked goods. Tamales.
Such a beautiful spot for some EXCELLENT coffee & treats! Really cosy environment, will def return on our trip.
Lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy the coffee and pastries. I enjoyed the traditional Olla coffee and their special Tequila Olla, where they soaked the coffee beans in Tequila! 😁
First time here for the both of us. We dined in on a Sunday, early afternoon. I found myself more for the patio seating (than I did for their coffee), with the antique-like water fountain which was quite stunning. The temperature that Sunday was absolutely beautiful. We had a reservation at Comfort Cafe and decided to use our wait time and explore the area. The staff here were pleasant. We were extremely pleased with the service. Overall, great company and great time.
